3 steps to create your first virtual staging

Getting Started Virtually Staging

Virtually staging an image is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Follow the steps outlined below to successfully virtually stage your first image.

Step 1: Add Furniture From Gallery

👀 If you need details on the various ways to locate furniture, head to the Gallery Overview.

Option 1: Select a furniture item and press Add, or drag it right into the image.

Step 2: Moving Furniture

Option 1: Press and hold the furniture item while dragging it to a different location.

Option 2: Short-clicking on a furniture item will select it and open a dialog area on the left with nudge controls that allow you to move furniture ➖ or ➕ on the horizontal and depth axes in small amounts.

Keyboard Shortcut: Move furniture on the horizontal and depth axes with the arrow keys (◀️▶️ 🔼🔽)

Option 3: When selecting furniture by clicking it, a 3-axis control will appear, which makes it easier to control furniture position.

Rotating Furniture

Option 1: Press and hold your right mouse button while dragging the item left or right, or use 2 fingers on the furniture while dragging your fingers on a trackpad.

Keyboard Shortcut: If you don’t have a mouse with a right mouse button, you can hold ctrl while dragging the furniture to rotate it.

Option 2: Short-clicking on a furniture will select it and open a dialog area on the left with Rotation nudge controls that allow you to rotate furniture ➖ or ➕, to change the orientation of the furniture in tiny amounts for precise positioning.

Keyboard Shortcut: Rotate furniture by holding the ctrl key and using the left and right arrow keys on the PC (ctrl + ◀️▶️ ) or on the Mac (ctrl + command + ◀️▶️ )

Step 3: Rendering

When your design is complete, press the Render button in the top bar. This process may take between 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the rendering settings.

When the final rendered results are ready, you will be notified via email and on the Property Page.

Click View Result to view and download your final image.
