Smart Furniture Search

Initiating Your Search

• Finding the Furniture Smart Search Bar: In the editor, navigate to the ‘Furniture’ category.

• Initiate a smart search: Click on the search bar at the top of the left-side panel

Live Keyword Suggestions

• Begin Typing: As you type, the system will suggest keywords that might match what you're looking for.

• Color-Coded Suggestions: Here's how they work:
• Furniture Suggestions: Highlighted in bright-blue.
• Color Suggestions: Highlighted in bright-yellow.
• Material Suggestions: Highlighted in bright-green.

• Note: Once you select a main furniture category, your next search suggestions will be limited to the subcategories of that chosen category.

• Clear search text: Quickly clear all your search text by clicking on the ‘X’ button on the right side of the search bar.

Viewing All Keyword Options

• Show All Categories/Colors/Materials: You can directly view all furniture categories, colors, or materials by clicking their respective 'Show all...' buttons.

 

• Subcategories: If a main furniture category is already selected, you’ll be able to view every subcategory of your chosen furniture category by clicking on the 'Show all subcategories' button.

• Quickly Add Keyword Tags: Reveal all the extended options lists for categories, colors, and materials by clicking the '+' button on the right side of the search bar (available when the search bar has no text inside).

Suggestions and Keywords Filters

• Filter Buttons: Below the search bar, you'll see three filter buttons labeled 'Furniture', 'Color', and 'Material'. Click on any of these to refine your search suggestions to that specific category.

Recent Searches

• View Recent Searches: Whenever you click to activate the smart search, as long as the bar is empty of text and tags, it will show your recent search suggestions

• Simply click on any previous search to run it again.

• You can also clear any previous search by clicking on the ‘X’ icon to its right

Finalizing Your Search

• Getting Results: While the search bar is active, hit Enter.

• Tagging: The system will evaluate your search terms and assign tags when keywords are identified. These tags can be:
• Furniture Categories/Subcategories (blue tags).
• Colors (yellow tags).
• Materials (green tags).
• Free Terms (gray tags).

• Truncated Tags: If you have many tags, they might be summarized for brevity. View all the individual tags by simply clicking on any of the summarized tags.

• Reset Search: To quickly clear all your existing search tags and start over, click on the Trash icon below the search bar

Understanding Your Search Results

• Your search results will be generated based on all keyword tags.

• Example: the search “Sofas Blue White Fabric” will only show Sofas, that are either Blue or White (or both), and that contain Fabric.

• Display Order: Search results are then sorted based on all the free terms (gray tags) in order of relevance.
