Create an Immersive 360° Experience
Virtually staging a 360° image using Apply Design follows the same process as virtually staging a 2D image. The main difference being, 360° Images cost 2 Apply Coins each.
What is a 360° Image?
Apply Design supports equirectangular 2:1 images, taken from any device. Equirectangular format is one single stitched image of 360° horizontally and 180° vertically.
What Does Apply Design Support?
Apply Design supports the virtual staging of the 360° image itself. Apply Design currently does not supply a 360° virtual tour. The recommended way of using Apply Design 360° Virtual Staging service is to export the 360° images out of an existing 360° tour. You then can upload those images into Apply Design to virtually stage them and when complete import back into your your existing tour.
Currently, Matterport does not allow importing back edited images into their platform. We are currently working with Matterport on a resolution.

How does 360° Virtual Staging Differ?
2D images will display the specific angle of the area you will be virtually staging. 360° images will display a specific starting point. Expand the image out using your mouse, then click and hold to rotate and see the entire area available for staging.
Step 1: Chose a Starting Point
Step 2: Add Furniture From Gallery
Adding furniture to a 360° Image is done the exact same way as adding furniture to a 2D image.
